Kim graduated from Western Washington University in 1992 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She taught special education preschool for thirteen years with the Everett School District before moving to Spokane in 2006. She was an adjunct professor for the Community Colleges of Spokane for 2 years where she facilitated a multi-age co-operative preschool for 2 years. Kim has spent the last 5 ½ years providing early intervention services for children birth to three years old. Outside of work, she enjoys running, bike riding, scrapbooking with friends as well as spending time with her husband and two dogs.
