Lora's interest in helping children with delays in development or special needs started when she began working for the Developmental Disabilities Program in Moscow, Idaho, in 1991, while attending the University of Idaho. At DDP, she worked as an intake receiver, service coordinator, and therapy technician. She graduated from University of Idaho in 1993 and returned to graduate school in Speech Language Pathology. She graduated from Washington State University in 1998 and has been working with pediatric communication and feeding issues ever since. Lora has training in Beckman Oral Motor Protocol assessment and intervention and has been a Hanen certified instructor since 2003. As a speech therapist, Lora's interests include apraxia, oral motor development, sensory integration/language, infant concept development & communication, and attachment issues. Outside of the clinic, Lora's interests focus around parenting her five children.
