Becky graduated with a Master's degree in Communication Disorders in 2005 from Washington State University and has worked with pediatrics since then. She started out working at Kootenai Medical Center in their outpatient rehabilitation center with their growing pediatric population. She began working at Center for Pediatric Therapy (formerly Pediatric Therapy Specialists) in 2007. She began as an Associate Professorship with WSU working as a clinical supervisor, and teaching classes on Language and Literacy as well as Diagnostics and Assessment.
Her professional interests include Feeding and Swallowing involving children with sensory, respiratory and GI concerns, Weaning from G-tubes, Early Speech and Language Development/Communication, Relationship/Attachment Base for Feeding and Language Development, Integration of Sensory Processing techniques, Vital Stim, and Literacy-Based Language Intervention. Her other interests include spending time with her family and friends, and foster care for medically fragile/developmentally needy children.
